"For whatever reason, I happened across your site today and felt a rush of excitement. Not because of the content, per se, but for the encouragement I felt by one of your small blurbs. It said something about "sitting in the dark and wondering if our talent would ever be discovered", or something like that. Well, this is why this is so interesting, I awoke this morning thinking to myself, "maybe I'm not cut out for this after all...." I was thinking about what kind of "regular joe job" I could get. And at that moment, it hit me. I'm a creative soul. I have more ideas on any given week than a person should be allowed. And I have a specific voice that should be heard. Whether it's a screenplay, a novel, a teleplay, or whatever, I have been given a gift and I should use it. YOU, my friend, a former stranger, helped to rekindle the fire in me. I read your posts, I watched your videos and I was encouraged. I will be entering your contest with at least ONE of my attempts at writing.
